The implication I took from this is the importance of treating people, against their express wishes, under the MH Act before the BMI gets too low.TeeBeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15565174597375023594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-380213133018137281.post-50245436391444160792016-04-18T09:05:43.991+01:002016-04-18T09:05:43.991+01:00Thanks for your comments and clarifications. Thanks for your comments and clarifications. The Masked AMHPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01348865658320780867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-380213133018137281.post-83041899510685327702016-04-17T10:03:06.720+01:002016-04-17T10:03:06.720+01:00Cont: I recall some of the judge-baiting mid-marke...Cont: I recall some of the judge-baiting mid-market tabloids noting the different outcomes in these two cases as evidence as disarray and incoherence in the attitude of judges at the time of the second judgment. This was not the case but in my opinion a model illustration of the context and personal specific focus of best interest decision-making. The judgment describes in detail E's previous periods as a detained patient and her being removed from the MHA and episodes of enforced feeding ending. I gather that the involved professionals agreed to abide by the judgment and to give it effect by use of the MHA.
